			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Pim Ligthart of Vacansoleil-DCM won the final stage in the Ster ZLM Tour! &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;All week the riders of Vacansoleil-DCM have been attacking resulting in some nice results. Martijn Keizer took the Mountain jersey and youngster Maurits Lammertink placed third in the Queens stage.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;For Ligthart his victory in the last stage was a beautiful present for his birthday. &amp;quot;It&#39;s not common that the break away remains until the finish but we worked well together and were able to maintain a small gap!&amp;quot; explained Ligthart.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

Despite being dropped on the last climb Westra saw his chance when he returned in the small remainder of the peloton.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;He attacked when the leading group was almost caught, in the sprint Westra was fast enough to leave Mancebo behind.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;We are looking forward what more can be expected this Tour of California! &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Thomas De Gendt wins final stage in Catalunya!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The 26 year old Belgian rider of Vacansoleil-DCM won the first race of the season for the team. The final stage of the Volta a Catalunya in Barcelona was difficult and after a few attempts a group of five riders were able to take a gap from the peloton.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;De Gendt felt strong and had confidence he could win this stage. In the sprint he proved himself right by leaving the others behind. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

Whyte made a comeback after a year of injury and left big names behind him. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Despite a very windy bike course, Whyte had the fastest bike split of the day on a FFWD F9R and F6R combination!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

			<title>2013 Season Start!</title>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;At the first training camp in December the Vacansoleil-DCM team started the 2013 season! &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The team came together for the first camp in Spain where the guys got their hands on the new bikes for the coming year. They also got the new slightly adjusted clothing kits which are presented officially at next weeks team presentation.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;For the team it is a chance to meet the new names that will join the team. Flecha, Rujano and Van Poppel are new names to complete the team and make it stronger. 			<title>Whyte is back!</title>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;FFWD Wheels sponsored triathlete Jamie Whyte is back!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;With a third place at the Taupo Half Ironman Whyte ends this year on a positive note. Whyte was suffering the entire year with a knee injurie which withheld him from training and racing on the level he was used to before. Luckily he is free of injury again and was able to compete in the front and for the victory again.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;With this result he is looking forward to the Challenge Wanaka in January which is a home race for the New Zealand athlete and where he won before.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

			<title>Marcato wins Paris-Tours!</title>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Marco Marcato of Team Vacansoleil-DCM wins Paris-Tours! &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Italian rider was the strongest of the three man leading group. After a second place last year this time it had to be right for Marcato. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;At 20 kilometres before the finish Marcato joined a group of 10 and he attacked on one of the last climbs where only Terpstra and De Vreese could follow the Italian. In a sprint with three Marcato crossed the line first.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;quot;By far this is the most beautiful victory of my carreer!&amp;quot; Marcato said after the finish. &amp;quot;The team had confidence in me and did great work for which I&#39;m very grateful. 			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Team AA-Drink/Leontien.nl took bronze in the Team Time Trial at the World Championships!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;With the re-introduction of the Team Time Trial the World Championships kicked off this weekend in Valkenburg, in the south of The Netherlands. In the women&#39;s peloton two teams have been above the rest the whole season and showed this again. Behind Teams Specialized-Lulumon and Orica-AIS it was the battle for bronze that was more interesting. Based on this years&#39; results the girls of AA-Drink/Leontien.nl were not convinced they could make the podium. Director Sportive Danny Stam never lost faith in the team and they worked hard on the right positions. 			<title>Stage win for Kirsten Wild!</title>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Third stage in the Dutch Brainwash Ladies Tour won by Kirsten Wild!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;With an impressive sprint Wild crossed the finish line with three bike lengths on Olympic Champion Marianne Vos who finished second. 			<title>De Gendt close to stage win!</title>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Thomas De Gendt was close to another stage victory in a grand tour!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Vacansoleil-DCM rider was in the front with Dario Cataldo and both got a maximum lead of 15 minutes. The queen stage of the Vuelta a Espana featured some big climbs with a finish on the difficult Cuitu Negru.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The two leaders made a pact to not attack and see who would be the strongest on the steep sections of the final climb towards the finish. De Gendt saw Cataldo cross the finish line only a few metres in front of him: &amp;quot;I wanted to win and did my best, but Cataldo was stronger&amp;quot; said De Gendt.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;After his impressive solo and stage win on the Stelvio in this years Giro d&#39;Italia De Gendt went to the Vuelta to get another stage win. 			<title>Victory in La Vuelta! </title>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Antonio Piedra wins 15th stage of Vuelta A Espana! &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Spanish rider of Team Caja Rural was part of a 9 men breakaway group together with a team mate De La Fuente and Lagutin of Vacansoleil-DCM. On the final difficult climb, Piedra attacked and finished solo with a two minute gap on the rest.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;For Team Caja Rural the participation in this Vuelta is very important and the riders have been in the front a lot. In the 15th stage their efforts paid off with a fantastic victory.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Team Caja Rural was supplied with wheels just before the Vuelta and will continue to ride them in 2013. 			<title>Westra wins in Denmark!</title>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Lieuwe Westra wins the Tour of Denmark due to his strong time trial!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;This season Westra has shown himself in many stage races with a second place in Paris-Nice, &#39;Driedaagse de Panne&#39; and the tour of Belgium. Due to winning the time trial he not only won that stage, but went to the top of the general classification as well. His focus on the spring classics this year was lost when Björn was confronted with an injury. The last few months he got back at the right level, resulting in the first victory of the season!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;He explains: &amp;quot;A good result was about to happen and with this I can focus on the coming races where I want to show myself!&amp;quot;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;With Leukemans two other Vacansoleil-DCM riders finished in the top 5 as Hoogerland finished third and Marcato was fourth. 			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Vuelta is one of the goals for Thomas De Gendt of Team Vacansoleil-DCM! &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;After a very successful Giro d&#39;Italia and skipping the Tour de France, De Gendt&#39;s ambitions for this Vuelta are high. &amp;quot;I&#39;m going for a stage victory and will try to gain the best possible position in the general classification!&amp;quot; says De Gendt! &amp;quot;It&#39;s impossible to already name a place for the final classification, but I will do my best with the focus not to loose time.&amp;quot;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;In the Giro d&#39;Italia, Thomas De Gendt won the queen stage over the Stelvio and placed third in the general classification. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;De Gendt will be supported by five Dutch riders: debutants Wouter Mol and Bert-Jan Lindeman as well as Pim Ligthart, Rob Ruijgh and Martijn Keizer. 			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;This Vuelta a Espana two teams will ride with FFWD Wheels! &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Spanish Professional cycling team Caja Rural start in today&#39;s Classica San Sebastian on FFWD wheels and later this week they are one of the teams to start in the Vuelta.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Caja Rural riders have bikes from the Bulgarian bike builder Vivelo where one is for the Bulgarian National Champion Danail Petrov!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;FFWD Wheels is proud to have two professional teams at the start of this Vuelta a Espana and is looking forward to see some great stages.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>

			<description>&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Wout Poels wins queen stage in Tour of Luxembourg!&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The 24 year old rider of Vacansoleil-DCM went in a breakaway with three riders of Team Radioshack-Nissan in the finale of the 200 kilometres stage. After Klöden was dropped, Poels had to sprint against Fugelsang and Frank Schleck. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Fugelsang who finished second after Poels took the lead in the general classification with two seconds on Wout Poels. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Although finishing fifth in the final stage, Poels could not make up the two second gap with Fugelsang who won the Tour of Luxembourg. Poels is however happy with his performance working towards the Tour the France and in preparation will start in the Tour of Switzerland this month.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt; &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;em&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br/&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;<br />&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;&amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Photo: Cor Vos&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;</description>
